We are pleased to have built a relationship with the Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, and to be a part of their Emergency Operations Protocols. When the weather gets bad, and staff call in, they are now provided an option for one of our volunteer drivers to pick them up and get them to work.
The Storm Troopers are carefully watching the weather forecasts, and weather models to keep an eye out for major storms that could seriously impact local travel conditions. Once it’s determined that there will likely be a significant impact to safe driving, our team goes on standby, and coordinates with the Emergency Management team at the hospital.
“It’s all about maintaining effective operations at the hospital. Saving lives, and maintaining healthcare at the hospital is what our nurses do best. What we do best is drive the un-drivable.”

All our drivers are seasoned off-road drivers, so deep snow, and poor visibility is just another day for them. Some of them are also off-road driving, and recovery instructors, and they are fully equipped for when things go wrong. So when authorities say “essential travel only”…that’s us.
